Biography:

I graduated from Holtville High School in 2006. I attended Holtville from K-12. My husband and I currently reside in Wetumpka, Alabama. We have two daughters (Brooklyn-8 & Bonnie Helen-4). My husband is a firefighter with Montgomery Fire and Rescue. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve our community!

One of the main focuses for me in the classroom is fostering a comfortable, safe place for students to come together to share ideas, learn, and begin establishing life skills needed for a successful future. Each student has something different and unique to offer. I aspire to help them discover their passions, build upon their strengths, and conquer areas of difficulty.

I have been teaching at MMS since 2019. Science and math are my favorite subjects. I strive to have a student-centered classroom by allowing students to participate in group discussions about their work, engage in hands-on activities, and reflect upon their thinking in interactive science journals.

I am eager to meet all my new students and begin a fun and exciting 6th grade year! *Let's go Mustangs!*
