Hello parents and students!  I just thought I would let you know a few personal things about me.  I have been in Youth Ministry for 19 years, and I have been teaching in Elmore County for 15 years.  I have been married for 25 years to the love of my life.. Yvette Burdett.  We have three children of our own:  Logan, my oldest son, is a Corrections Office in Elmore and preparing to become a Sheriff; Kaylie, my middle child and daughter, is a freshman in college studying to become a Nurse and works in a Cardio Vascular office in Montgomery; and Nathan, my youngest son, is in 11th grade at Wetumpka High School.   My favorite team, (besides Wetumpka Indians of course) is ALABAMA...ROLL TIDE!!  I love sports!  I have coached basketball at WHS, and I have coached my sons in Baseball and Soccer. I also referee many sports including: soccer, basketball, volleyball, and umpire baseball.  I played soccer in college and was an "All American" in 1991.  I love teaching, I love learning, and I love being around kids.  This is my calling and I wouldn't be happy doing anything else!  Have a wonderful year!
