Second Grade

I received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University in Montgomery and a Master's degree, August 2017  in Instructional Leadership also from Auburn University of Montgomery.

I've been teaching Second Grade at Redland Elementary School for 6 years and I love it!

My name is Benita Taylor and I graduated from Auburn University of Montgomery with a B.S. in Childhood Education in 2011. I've earned my Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership at Auburn University of Montgomery this month, August 2017! My family and I have lived in Elmore County all our lives. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Patrick for 24 years and we have four lovely children, Lanardia (Aaron), Jada, Janae and Jarrod. We have three grandson's (whom we absolutely adore!) named Aaron Jr., he's four years old,  Isaac, he's two years old, and Joshua and he's a newborn. They are a delight and an absolute blessing to our family! Teaching is more than a job for me; I feel it’s a calling. In my spare time I love to attend Fresh Anointing House of Worship with my family, read books, attend football/basketball games, spend time with my children, grandchildren, and hang out with my siblings. I also like to dine out, get massages and shop. I am excited to begin another year at Redland Elementary School!
